Intended Purpose: The Analog Perimeter snowboard pants are meant to keep you dry on the slopes with 1oK waterproofing (best in Colorado) and fully taped seams. The Perimeter pants have a baggy fit, pockets for everything and ventilation to help keep you riding on the slopes without needing to come inside. Fit: The Analog Perimeter pants are baggy which makes them ideal for me since that’s what I prefer. I rock the men’s pants which keeps them baggy on me and fits my hips just how I like them. The length of the pants is always an issue when wearing men’s pants and that just means you can only see the toe of my boots from underneath my pants. Appearance: The reason I picked up the perimeter pants is the color first and it matched the specs I needed second. The color was everything, I liked the bright red and thought it’d match most of my jackets good enough that I could get out from the black snowboard pant box. The cargo pockets have a slim profile so when nothing is in them, you barely notice them. The AG sayings are all over the pant and at first that […]

Intended Purpose: Winter glove for women on the mountain. Sizing: I have typical women’s hands. In Swany, I wear a women’s large which doesn’t feel too bulky. I can still tighten the wrist and the cuff fits under my jacket. The glove portion fits me better than the inner liner which is a little looser on my hands. Features: The skintex inner liner is the most prominent feature, it actually softens your hands when you are wearing them. You receive a spray and after several times wearing them, you spray it up and it continues to work it’s magic. Quick release strap, hook & loop tab with neoprene cuff, rolled finger construction are other features that come in handy. For me the strings are the best feature, I need to have them around my hands so I don’t lose my gloves when I’m taking video or photos on the mountain. Just on it’s own, the inner liners I could keep on my hands and still stay warm when the gloves were off. Durability: The shell features Schoeller herringbone nanosphere & metalic touch fabric, Smooth Grain LeatherShield with digitized trim & FlexShield. If you don’t understand that tech talk, it’s okay […]

Intended Purpose: This is a spring weather glove or inner glove upgrade. It is meant for temperates from 30 degrees Fahrenheit to 65 Degrees Fahrenheit. Sizing: I have typical women’s hands. I am wearing a size mediums in the skinny gloves, and seriously they fit me perfectly. It doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing gloves because of the perfect fit, like a second skin. Features: The catalog says it “attracts mates” but I’m still waiting for that…haha. But seriously, these are really lightweight gloves that you can wear under another set of gloves or sport as your spring glove. It comes in 3 different colors, I’m sporting the purple and black combo. Durability: The palm is a silicon grip printed clarino…which is just another way to describe a grippy palm. The shell is stretch corded nylon, which is nice because the glove overall is very stretchy which makes you wonder when you put it on cause it’s tight but then no problem with it being uncomfortable or too tight. So far with the 10 or so days I’ve spent on snow with this glove, it is lightweight, I have no problems with it ripping from holding the edge of my […]

Intended Purpose: This is a spring weather glove. It is meant for temperates from 25 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 Degrees Fahrenheit. Sizing: I have typical women’s hands. I’m currently sporting the men’s medium in the Mustacheo’s which fit, but are a little loose in spots. The Mustacheo fit lets it expand to hands, but does not have a way to tighten it like velcro…so getting a close size is necessary. Features: With the Mustacheo gloves, you get two stashes to use depending which index finger you put up: One is the straight line and the other features a curled stashe. Durability: The mustacheo features a variety of materials, the shell is stretch corded nylon and the palm is silicon printed grip clarino. I like the soft material from the base of the glove to the thumb, allowing for those wipe your nose moments on the mountain. The palm is a mixture of hard and soft but lets you grip things well. I had no problem holding one glove on the chairlift feeling confident I wouldn’t lose it. Location: I received the gloves late in May to try out in spring conditions at A-Basin, Colorado. I spent a couple days with […]
