It hasn’t been easy for snowboard shops during the last couple years and it’s been more common to see shops closing than a shop expanding. 720 Boardshop out of Denver, Colorado is expanding to their second location located in the new South Glenn shopping area that opens this weekend. I stopped by the shop yesterday to check in with friends and see the progress of their new store. Installing the 720 sign outside [singlepic id=6222 w=400 h=267 float=] Despite the opening this weekend, 720 Boardshop was doing better than it’s neighbors on being open early and looking good when I strolled through. Boxes were still being brought in and day 1 included some sales as the 720 crew worked to finish the shop up. A mix of softoods on hand already and the hardgoods getting put out [singlepic id=6231 w=400 h=267 float=] Behind the counter the goodies to purchase [singlepic id=6227 w=400 h=267 float=] Throughout the store is amazing graffiti work by a local artist Dread and pal Wspr that covers the style of the snow: snow, skate, wake, surf. [singlepic id=6224 w=267 h=400 float=] The boys K-mart and local coach Berto talking about the Copper days [singlepic id=6228 w=267 […]
