Intended Purpose: Taking goggle interchangeability to the next level, the M1 goggle makes it easy to change out lenses thanks to magnetic lenses. Beyond the interchangeability quickness, the goggles feature an assortment of technology to help your snow vision on the mountain. Location: I’ve been riding these goggles most of the season here at Keystone Resort in Colorado. Conditions: The goggles have been ridden during the day and night at Keystone with a mix of conditions on the snow. From overcast to bluebird to snowing. I have two lenses with the goggles: Red Solex and Blue Lagoon. Color: I received the Anon M1 goggle in the Slate colorway. It’s a mix of grey and reddish-orange with the simple Anon logos on the strap. Overall it’s a pretty plain goggle in terms of colors, not my first choice I prefer something brighter. Lens: The Anon M1 goggle I have features the Red Solex and Blue Lagoon lenses. The Red Solex is what I would wear on bluebird days to block out the sunshine with the reflective lens. The Blue lagoon did a better job on the cloudy/overcast conditions so I’d switch it out on those days. Fit: For the most part, […]

Intended Purpose: The Anon Solace goggles features comfort and style in a small frame for women. Location: I rode these goggles during day two of the SIA on-snow at Winter Park, CO. Conditions: The conditions were brutal for temperatures. My own Smith goggles had frozen up from moisture on the lens so I borrowed the Solace’s and ended up riding them all day in the sunny to overcast conditions with freezing cold (up to -20) temperatures. Color: I demoed the Solace goggles in the seismic frame which is a deeper pink/almost purple color with varying colors throughout the frame. The strap features a pink line pattern with a purple backdrop of color. The Anon is in blue and where the strap connects to the frame is more blue. It’s definitely a girlie color option but without the flowers. Lens: I rode the Solace’s in the blue solex lens. It blocked the sunlight and was great visibility in the sunshine but also during the shady spots while riding, I was able to see the snow changes. Fit: I liked that the Solace’s were a smaller frame for women, it was comfortable on my face and snug with the RED helmet. The […]

The dawn of a new era.An entirely new mode for optics, the Anon Realm is the first in the Anon line to combine de-centered spherical lens technology with their new interchangeable Air Mesh Ventilation System™. Amplify your field of vision and control your ventilation level, too with the Anon Realm. Anon Realm Goggle Looks good…but could be better! By Shay from Steamboat Springs, Colorado on 9/12/2007 2out of 5 Sizing: Feels true to size (Update: after comparing fit to other goggles, these do not fit my face in the nose bridge area where I got some extra air coming through). Pros: Good Fit, Stylish, Lens Quality Cons: Fogs Up Best Uses: Snowboarding, Sitting on a run with Describe Yourself: Advanced I used the anon realms all season here in Colorado with the most days at Steamboat Springs. I have mine with the rose mirror lens which was great in sunny conditions, but flat light were the worst. The goggle itself, i liked the fit and design. The peripheral view was excellent. But the goggles would fog up very quickly during riding and so I’d switch them out for my Oakley’s which never fogged up. I did get a lot of […]
