Setup: I rode the Roxy Envi C2 BTX with Roxy Rock-it power bindings and Vans Veil Boots size 8. Size: 156cm. First Impression: Feels good to ride a women&#8217;s board that looks good but rides more badass than it looks. Weight: Average Flex: The envi is a more aggressive women&#8217;s board when it comes to flex and handling.  Stiffer longitudinally with a tad softer nose and softer torsional flex but still overall stiffer ride for women.  It&#8217;s one of the few women&#8217;s boards that is comparable to men&#8217;s boards of the same caliber and just as aggressive for charging and handling.  The Envi has C2 BTX which is banana rocker between the bindings and camber from the inserts to the contact points.  The reverse camber helps give it extra float in the powder and playfulness but still camber for stability on the mountain. Turning: Quick response from edge to edge on the envi, it really turns on a dime but also handles a mix of carving turns whether you want slow or drawn out riding.  Just for the board flex and handling, [&#8230;]]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Location: Steamboat, Vail, Beaver Creek, CO Snow Conditions: Hardpacked groomers to icy to powder conditions on the mountain. Setup: I rode the Roxy Eminence C2 BTX with my Union bastardized bindings and Vans Veil Boots size 8. Size: 155cm. First Impression: Disregard the prettyness of this board because it rides like a badass down the mountain. Weight: Lighter than average Flex: Despite being Torah Bright&#8217;s pipe board, the eminence is actually a softer medium flex board that suits the park to mountain riding.  Between the binding it&#8217;s a tad stiffer flex that helps give stability on the mountain, then the nose and tail is slightly softer giving it a lot more playfulness on the mountain.  It&#8217;s overall not a soft board but it&#8217;s not a stiff pipe board like you&#8217;d expect either. The eminence for 10-11 has C2 BTX, which is banana rocker between the binding inserts and camber from the inserts to the contact points.  It helps the board handle everything from park to powder. Turning: Once on edge, the eminence really does all the work for you.  It is a consistent turning board with no surprises.  The best turns were the longer drawn out S turns that were [&#8230;]]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[I can always count on the BMB forums to give their honest opinion, usually it&#8217;s not the nicest but it&#8217;s always honest. They recently had a good point that when I reviewed the Lib Tech Dark C2 I didn&#8217;t compare it to the BTX version. I figured this would be a good time to discuss C2 vs BTX. Mervin Manufacturing is the brand behind C2 and BTX technology and create Lib Tech, GNU and some Roxy snowboards. This is the first year for C2 technology to hit the market from Mervin but BTX has been around for years in the Mervin lines.  For 09-10, there are five models coming out of Mervin Manufacturing that will feature C2 Technology: Lib Tech Dark Series, Lib Tech Trice, GNU Billy Goat, GNU Danny Kass and GNU B-PRO.   I&#8217;ve been able to try 3 of those boards that feature the new C2 technology and was able to try 2 of those boards when they were BTX.   BTX [singlepic id=4857 w=400 h=124 float=] BTX also known as Banana Traction features a rocker banana between your feet and flat from inserts out to the contact points.
