At age 23, Hannah Teter has quite the track record for snowboarding and humanity. She’s already won a Gold Medal in the 2006 Olympics and her ventures have taken her into the public eye with appearances on late night television, her own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor and she continues her charity work to make the world a better place outside of snowboarding. To celebrate her accomplishments and find out more about her goals for the upcoming Olympics I recently interviewed Hannah and gave-away a free snowboard for a winning question, now it’s time to find out the answers. Shay: After taking home the Gold Medal at the 2006 Olympics and now trying to win Gold at the 2010 Olympics, how has your riding progressed in the past 4 years and what has been most beneficial to your riding? Hannah: I’ve had a couple injuries that kept me from really taking it to the next level right after the Olympics. I’ve been training and riding hard this year and last though, and have been doing pretty well. I’m hoping to carry that momentum into the Olympics next month.
The time has arrived and despite a very busy schedule Hannah Teter picked a winner in the ask Hannah Teter a question to win a AMP Snowboard Contest! All you had to do was ask Hannah a question and if she picked your question to answer then you are the winner of a new AMP Snowboard! The best part about the contest was how everyone had really thoughtful questions and I received props on the quality of questions that were submitted. Now it’s time to announce who is taking home a AMP Snowboard (I heard it’s the Burton Custom!). [singlepic id=7425 w=500 h=306 float=] The winner of the Ask Hannah Teter a question is… Maggie who asked, “What is your normal morning routine to get pumped up for a day of riding?” Find out the answer tomorrow in the Hannah Teter interview with Maggie’s question and some of my own questions. Also Ben & Jerry’s heard about the contest and were kind enough to throw in some free pint coupons that I”ll be giving to a couple readers who had great questions that didn’t win. I’ll be contacting you in email after SIA to get your address so I can […]

But I want your help with coming up with the last question for Hannah so leave a comment with whatever you would like to find out from Hannah Teter and if she picks your question to answer, you win an AMP energy drink snowboard. [singlepic id=7425 w=500 h=306 float=] The contest ends on Thursday, January 14th so you have 2 days to come up with a question for Hannah. Make sure when you leave your comment with the question that your email address is correct so I can get in touch with you if you are the winner. Hannah will be selecting the winner and I’ll be announcing it on the blog.
