The last day of SIA is always the quietest and most haggard day of the show for most people. I was able to sleep in on Sunday, pack up my gear and slowly make my way to the show. I was expecting day 3 to be a quiet day at the show but soon found out that I had some last minute appointments and still a good amount of companies to visit. [singlepic id=7612 w=300 h=450 float=] My first appointment was with The Program to check out Forum Snowboards, Special Blend and Foursquare Outerwear. [singlepic id=7614 w=400 h=300 float=] Foursquare outerwear lined up [singlepic id=7605 w=400 h=300 float=] I’m not exactly sure on what jacket this is but it’s one of the top end Foursquare jackets with a inner matching jacket. [singlepic id=7600 w=300 h=450 float=] Special Blend continues with the bright stripe patterns on some of the outerwear After I made my way to Celtek where I was able to meet Erik Leines and see the upcoming line. They had a very rad hunting booth and kept the show alive with their antics. Crossing the stream into Celtek [singlepic id=7608 w=300 h=400 float=] Some new Celtek gloves [singlepic […]

Saturday arrived in Denver (despite a couple late nights) and day 3 continued with the tradition of waking up early, meeting with companies at appointments and hanging out with fun people during the show. I was able to have a break on Saturday for lunch but met with companies from 9am to almost 7pm which unfortunately caused me to miss the Yobeat/Boardistan Shred Blogger Summit at the end of the evening. So far the show has been amazing, I’ll do a highlight post after SIA ends and of course I’ll be doing product posts from the show and what new stuff is coming out from each company. Jones Snowboards looking good and definitely top of the list for demos starting monday. [singlepic id=7582 w=400 h=300 float=] Drop gloves launched their new goggles for 10-11 and I must say, they looked great with a […]

So far Denver has kept up with the parties, fun and products that the SIA show brings for the industry each year. Day 2 for me was a personal triumph with a late night out on the town the night before and a little over 2 hours of sleep but adrenaline kept me alive all day through each appointment. Today was my busiest day for the show with no breaks from 9am to 5pm. One of the first appointments of the day was with Burton Snowboards, Mia Troy showed me the line of hardgoods and softgoods for 10-11. I think the best thing I’ve seen is their switch to make Burton more compatible with other gear.
Today is the beginning of four days of fun, products and people at the SIA Snow Show in Denver. SIA is an industry only event which means you’ll get the most influential people to snowboarding in one building and access to all of the 10-11 gear that will be hitting the sales floors in the fall of 2010. [singlepic id=7541 w=400 h=300 float=] I didn’t stay out too late last night and this morning was a breeze taking my time before hopping in a shuttle to the convention center. I wasn’t sure what to expect at Denver so I arrived early to make sure I found my way around first. Preparing for the ribbon cutting ceremony at the first SIA in Denver [singlepic id=7522 w=400 h=267 float=] Inside the show I stopped by Never Summer to say hi to the boys and see the graphics for 10-11, I’ve only seen a couple models so it was fun to check out the whole line that is coming out. [singlepic id=7553 w=400 h=267 float=] A variety of Never Summer boards coming out in 10-11 [singlepic id=7531 w=400 h=267 float=] The second stop of the day was 686 Outerwear and a personal favorite […]
