Since the Grenade Games Superpipe Finals didn’t start till noon, I hit up the mountain to get to the on-snow demos going on at Whistler Mountain for the morning.

The perk of being on the mountain early was I got to enjoy the Peak to Peak gondola alone, which was interesting having to entertain myself. Some of that downtime made it in my Superpipe video at the very end.
Whistler Mountain has the on-snow demos going on for the next 3 days. I love demo days and especially when it means I can try other companies. On snow today was Salomon, Technine, Ride, Burton, Stepchild and Capita/Union. Hopefully there will be more tomorrow, but if not I have some boards on my list to try out.

Today I tried the Stepchild Chi Borg, their new reverse camber and a good ride everywhere reverse camber. I spent the morning riding that making laps by myself and then headed back to Blackcomb Mountain to watch the Grenade Games Superpipe Finals.
