08 Mar, 2010
The crew at 686 are offering up some of their best limited edition New Balance gear and it’s time to announce two fun giveaways starting today that we’ll be doing with them. The first giveaway is to win brand new Limited Edition Snowboard Boots from 686xNew Balance for two lucky winners and the second giveaway is to win a pair of 686xNew Balance Super Nova Collection shoes!
Both contests will run one week, so you have until midnight at March 14th to get in your comments/submissions to win these! We’ll announce a winner soon after.
WIN Limited Edition NB686 Snowboard Boots!!!
CONTEST HAS ENDED!
May the prettiest foot win is the motto we’ve come up with! If you fit a men’s 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5 and 11 snowboard boot this is the contest for you! But it won’t be easy, we’ll need picture proof that you have the prettiest feet of all the snowboarders around the world. Whether it’s toenail polish, artwork, tattoos, glitter, paint, sharpies, whatever else you can imagine up…we want to see your foot turned into a piece of artwork!
There will be two winners for this contest, taking home brand new snowboard boots to fit their pretty feet!
Steps to win the New Balance Boots:
1. Glamourize/pretty your feet up. We want toenail polish, art, sharpies, paint, anything you can imagine to make your foot a piece of art!
2. Take a photo of your foot and upload to a hosting site like photobucket.
3. Leave a comment that says you want to win the snowboard boots with your name, email address, snowboard boot size and the link to your beautiful foot.
4. We’ll select the top 2 feet that look the prettiest to win snowboard boots! Please remember we only have sizes between 9-11 (including half sizes) for this contest.
WIN NB686 Super Nova Collection Shoes!!!
CONTEST HAS ENDED!
Finally just in case you thought we were finished, we’ll be giving away a pair of Men’s Limited Edition New Balance shoes that you could be sporting around town this summer!
All you have to do to be entered in to win the shoes, is leave a comment with your men’s shoe size. The people who match the shoe size of the New Balance shoes we’re giving away will be entered into a random drawing to win them!
Steps to win the New Balance shoes:
1. Leave a comment that says you want to win the shoes with your name, shoe size and email address.
2. If you happen to match the size of shoe we’re giving away you’ll be in the contest and we’ll pick a random winner.
3. We only have one size we’re giving away so lets see if your foot matches them!
Disclaimer: There are multiple limited edition snowboard boots depending on what size the winner is, no guarantee to which color you might win. If there are multiple colors, you’ll be able to pick out which one you would like.

10 US seems to be pretty good most of the time (9 1/2 would probably be better for my left foot but not the right, that’s why I’ve went with 10s from the boots I’ve worn so far)
