Absinthe’s Ready

As the list of teasers on snowboard-mag has been rapidly increasing…one was missing from the list until 2 days ago.  The highly anticipated Absinthe film has made the list.

Check out the Sphere of Influence Tour where you can find the 2008 Ready teaser, the premiere dates for the US and Europe and more information.  If you have a hard time waiting till September for the premieres or dvd release, you can purchase previous Absinthe films here (including a triple pack of pop, saturation and futureproof for less than $30).   I wrote a review of Optimistic? here.
According to the press release the “new film features grimey lines, real deal shots and questionable decisions by some of today’s heaviest hitters” and after watching the teaser from the Monster heli to the variety of lines around the world, from deep powder to urban rails, you get a small taste of what’s to come.
The riders representing this year is a lot of heavy hitters from previous films and some new flesh.  Here’s the list of riders in Ready:  Gigi Ruf, Jeremy Jones (big mountain), Kevin Pearce, JP Solberg, Scotty Lago, Romain DeMarchi, Mikey Leblanc, Keegan Valaika, Matt Beardmore, Matty Ryan, Cale Zima, Wolgang Nyvelt, Jules Reymond, Blair Habenicht, Marco Feichtner, MFM, Annie Boulanger and Nicholas Muller.
Looking forward to the film release and the upcoming projects of Absinthe Films.

That’s the worst teaser I’ve seen so far. Does not make me want to buy the dvd. The only saving grace they have is their line up of riders.
